About the Role:
The Service Manager will lead a new and innovative council service, a multi-use resource centre and hub for single homeless people. The role will be varied, fast-paced, and outcome-focused, requiring the ability to manage a small multi-disciplinary team, the physical environment, and the delivery of a comprehensive offer of support, recreation, and opportunity for single homeless adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team to deliver a co-produced and psychologically-informed support service to prevent and tackle homelessness.
- Undertake all aspects of service management, including staff management, physical environment management, and delivery of a comprehensive offer of support.
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders to achieve service outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
About You:
The successful candidate will have experience managing relevant homelessness services, skills in co-production, staff management, and partnership working. They will be confident in their ability to deliver a ground-breaking 'Hub' service, solution-focused, and motivated to tackle the causes and effects of homelessness with a personalised, collaborative, and dynamic approach.
