Job Description

Company Overview

The Graduate Project is a leading organization dedicated to empowering young people in schools and communities.


Main Responsibilities

  • Establish partnerships with local community groups, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies to enhance program delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with young people, local communities, and stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement, attendance, and academic performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver programs that address the needs of young people.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of volunteers.
  • Provide guidance and support to young people, including information, advice, and referrals.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of required evidence to management.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, including onboarding and training.


Requirements

  • 2 years of experience working directly with young people, including mentoring, support, and program facilitation.
  • Level 3 qualification in youth work or a related field.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in youth work or a related field.
  • Personal experience with the challenges faced by the young people they support.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
