Job Profile:

The Business Development Manager (B2B Fleet) will report to the Commercial Director and be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across van sales and conversion specialisms. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to grow a strong and commercially sustainable pipeline.
  • Utilize industry knowledge, relationships, and lead sourcing to identify and deliver new business opportunities.
  • Take ownership of customer interactions, including inbound and outbound calls, to support their needs for vehicle sales, bodybuilding, and conversions.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation for vehicle sales, including end-user details, specifications, finance details, and vehicle allocations.
  • Liaise with finance, operations, and registration departments to ensure timely processing of sales.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, using CRM data and pipeline insights to forecast and win business.
  • Address and resolve customer issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, production, and aftersales departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field-based role and sector.
  • B2B Fleet sales experience is essential.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and grow customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and generic CRM management software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
