Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, handling various transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all who interact with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to members, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions, including account openings, deposits, withdrawals, and other services as needed.
  • Operate a cash drawer, balance cash and vault, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist members with account problems, checking reconciliations, and errors in transactions.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and perform other clerical duties as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, using sound judgment and discretion when making decisions.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
Work Environment

This is an office setting with physical proximity to other employees. Some background noise from other employees, copy machine, and telephone may be present.

Physical Demands
  • Sits 80%, stands 10%, and walks 10% of the time.
  • Uses hands and fingers to lift telephone receiver, press keys on adding machine, and operate computer keyboard.
  • Must communicate clearly and listen intently to members' questions and concerns.
  • Visual acuity necessary for completing forms and documents.
