Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Refuel Talent. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing a regional territory and driving growth in the acquisition of wholesale fuel supply and leasehold contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the retail fuels market, including the competitive landscape and customer needs.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive territorial growth, focusing on signing wholesale fuel supply and long-term lease contracts.
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) set for the territory, including bi-weekly sales reviews and accurate, complete, and timely quality of work.
  • Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with existing and prospective dealer customers to optimize sales and grow a pool of potential commission operators.
  • Network Development: Maintain close relationships with property agents and brokers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Formulate sales proposals, negotiate close and onboard contracts promptly, and work closely with network planning, onboarding, and legal teams to implement commercially agreed contracts.
  • CRM Management: Ensure the CRM system and all sales-related documentation are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure sales policy and processes are adhered to, and undertake management forecasting and reporting as required.

Requirements:

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the UK retail fuels sector, including market retailers and competitors.
  • Sales Experience: Proven sales experience, with a record of success in implementing sales growth plans and closing long-term contracts.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, both internally and externally.
  • Communication: Accomplished written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness in all documentation.
