Job Title: Transformation Manager

NHS Arden and GEM Commissioning Support Unit is a leading healthcare organization, providing innovative solutions to the NHS and local authorities.

Job Summary:

The Transformation Manager will play a key role in supporting the transformation of our customers' workstreams, ensuring effective planning and management of programmes, and leading the successful delivery of innovation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    • Manage and support a range of innovation projects across the portfolio, providing advice and proactive support.
    • Lead on developing best practice approaches and rapid sharing of knowledge across the portfolio on ways of resolving critical common issues.
  • Business Development and Partnerships:
    • Maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and local authorities.
    • Develop and maintain information and guidance for existing and future users of the innovation program.
    • Provide ongoing best practice procedures, innovation strategy implementation tools, and advice to innovation leads and partners.
  • Financial and Operational Management:
    • Provide regular reporting on the targeting of resources and monitoring their implementation from a value for money perspective.
    • Provide oversight and monitoring of all aspects of Team budgets.
  • Human Resources and Talent Management:
    • Take a lead in the coordination of training, development, and recruitment activity across the Team.
    • Manage staff, undertaking appraisals, recruitment, and progressing any disciplinary or capability issues, as necessary.
  • Business Intelligence and Analytics:
    • Devise and provide improvements to current management information, analysing, reporting, and suggesting procedures to enhance decision-making processes.
    • Ensure timely and accurate information analysis and reporting to management on agreed areas of work.
  • Research and Development:
    • Contribute to the development of key performance indicators for the successful assessment of individual and workstream success.
    • Delegate aspects of Research and Development activities, collating information, analysing, and reporting findings.
