Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Monitoring Specialist to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the achievement of the Referral to Treatment (RTT) target.

Main Responsibilities
  • Validate patients' waiting times and ensure accurate reflection within the RTT Patient Tracking List (PTL) in line with Department of Health guidance.
  • Liaise with waiting list staff and medical secretaries to obtain accurate information and record it.
  • Investigate and proactively manage patient pathways in liaison with service managers to ensure patients are treated within the national 18 Week target.
  • Assist Business Unit managers in identifying, reporting, and resolving RTT data collection issues to achieve a high standard of quality and completeness of RTT information.

Requirements
  • Experience in the use of Patient Administration Systems or other Health Information Systems.
  • Data validation/quality experience within a large complex organisation.
  • Good working knowledge of Trust case notes.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of 18 Week principles, including RTT measurement and application.
