Vertical Advantage is a leading player in the global food industry, recognized for its portfolio of well-established consumer brands. We are currently seeking a Junior Sales Executive to join our dynamic commercial team, focusing on executing strategies for our prominent brands within the retail sector while supporting our broader sales initiatives.
This position offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to embrace a rewarding challenge. It is ideal for an emerging sales professional eager to advance their career or a motivated graduate looking to establish themselves in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sales arena. We also welcome applications from junior Customer Marketing or Category professionals interested in transitioning into a sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating and presenting an annual sales strategy for a designated customer portfolio
- Assisting the Account Management team with sales-related tasks
- Executing promotional strategies and assessing their impact
- Creating category review presentations
- Delivering precise sales forecasts
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience
- Entry-level sales or commercial experience; this could include a year-long internship in an FMCG environment or a post-graduate position
- Self-driven and results-oriented with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a support team
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
- Strong communication and persuasive skills
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Proficient in building relationships both internally and externally
- Advanced IT skills
- Familiarity with Excel
