Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer

Location: Horsham (Relocation Package available)

Work Arrangement: Flexible remote working available

Salary: £45,000 to £58,000 depending on experience

The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting robust electronics solutions meeting customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Design Skills: You will have innovative design skills in electro-mechanical mechanisms and precision machinery.
  • Technical Lead: You will be the technical lead within a small, mixed discipline, project design team to produce quality design solutions in line with cost, time, and quality requirements.
  • Design Creation: You will lead in the creation of designs in 3D CAD using SolidWorks software.
  • Classical Engineering Analysis: You will lead and work in collaboration with the team to perform classical engineering analysis on designs, including stress, fatigue & vibration using conventional analysis and computer simulation.
  • Engineering Reports: You will be responsible for leading and developing engineering reports to support new product designs, failure investigation, and any other formal documentation to support customer requirements.
  • Integration with Wider Engineering Teams: You will coordinate with wider engineering teams to integrate electronic, control, and drive systems into equipment designs.
  • Support for Production, Test, and Field Engineering Teams: You will provide support for the production, test, and field engineering teams.
  • Time Estimates and Progress Updates: You will work with project managers and sales teams to provide time estimates for design activities and keep appraised of progress.
  • Load Analysis and Design: You will load analysis and design for drive mechanisms and motor systems.
  • Machining, Casting, Fabrication, and Moulding Knowledge: You will have knowledge of machining, casting, fabrication, and moulding.
  • 3D CAD Proficiency: You will be proficient in 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks).
  • Strong Technical Understanding and Leadership: You will have strong technical understanding and leadership in project design.
  • Coaching and Talent Development: You will have coaching and talent development opportunities.
