About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fire Door Engineer to join our team at Proactive Solutions Group. As a Senior Fire Door Engineer, you will be responsible for completing the refurbishment, maintenance, inspection, and installation of fire-rated doors in accordance with fire regulations, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fire Door Installation and Maintenance: Perform inspections and assessments of existing fire-rated doors to identify any repairs or replacements needed. Install fire-rated doors in accordance with fire regulations, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Fire Door Hardware Installation: Install and maintain fire-rated door hardware, including locks, hinges, closers, and panic devices.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, including fire ratings, smoke sealing, and door clearances. Maintain accurate records of door installations, repairs, and inspections.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work in a team and independently when required. Liaise with the management team daily.
  • Travel and Safety: Travel to multiple sites as required. Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
