Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of fire door engineers in completing refurbishment, maintenance, and inspection tasks.
  • Inspections and Assessments: Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of existing fire-rated doors to identify any repairs or replacements needed.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install fire-rated doors in accordance with fire regulations, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines. Maintain and repair fire-rated door hardware, including locks, hinges, closers, and panic devices.
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, including fire ratings, smoke sealing, and door clearances. Maintain accurate records of door installations, repairs, and inspections.
  • Travel and Safety: Travel to multiple sites as required and adhere to safety protocols, using personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.

Requirements:

  • UK Driving License: Possess a valid UK driving license.
