We are looking for dedicated individuals

We are seeking a minimum of 3 part-time Care Providers (Community-Based) to support our efforts in the community.

If you possess the ability to bring joy to individuals during home visits, a role as a Care Provider with Be Caring may be an excellent match for you. No formal qualifications in care are necessary, but the right values and a positive attitude are essential. Each day will present new challenges and opportunities.

Compensation: £12.00 per hour (drivers) & £11.50 per hour (walkers) (paid per shift, including travel time)

  • Mileage reimbursement: 45p per mile for drivers / 20p per mile for cyclists
  • Incentive programs: up to £300 for new starters, £300 for referrals, and an annual bonus of £300. £25 birthday gift voucher.

As a Care Provider for Be Caring, your working hours will align with our shift patterns, which include evening shifts and alternating weekends.

  • Evening shift: 3:00pm - 10:00pm (end time may vary based on public transport)

We will collaborate with you to establish a working schedule, creating a 2-week rota that encompasses:

  • Alternate full weekends.
  • Evenings as mutually agreed upon.

To excel as a Care Provider for Be Caring, you will need essential qualities such as patience, empathy, and effective communication skills.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver personal care while maintaining individuals' dignity.
  • Encourage independence through supportive methods.
  • Assist individuals in achieving their personal goals, involving family members and professionals as needed.
  • Connect individuals with their communities by accessing local resources and services.
  • Provide personalized care tailored to individual preferences and needs.
  • Communicate effectively, documenting and sharing information with relevant parties in a timely manner.

Orientation Training

We seek individuals who embody the values of Be Caring to join our team. Previous care experience is not required, as we value transferable skills from other roles, such as retail. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you become an exceptional Care Provider.

As a Care Provider for Be Caring, you will receive thorough orientation training covering:

  • Values of Be Caring, going above and beyond to meet personal goals.
  • Respect and dignity, safeguarding, and equality and diversity.
  • Confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Nutrition and safe medication administration.
  • Safe moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sore prevention.
  • Infection control, health, and safety protocols.
  • Understanding learning disabilities, mental health, and capacity.
