Key Responsibilities- Promote cancer prevention through education events, poster distribution, and social media advertising.
- Work with local community groups to provide patient information, awareness, and support.
- Identify at-risk populations through the QOF register and develop systems to improve cancer screening uptake.
- Coordinate referrals and manage safety netting processes to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Collect and analyze data to improve coding, screening, and health inequalities.
- Support practices in delivering their quality improvement plans for early cancer diagnosis.
Dr Perkins Practice is a leading Primary Care Network in Oldham, comprising 11 GP practices. We work together to provide a range of extra services that meet the needs of our local communities. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care and improving health outcomes for our patients.
Requirements- Experience in a patient-facing role, preferably in a cancer-related field or primary care.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Competent administrative and IT skills.
