Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Hexagon Care Services. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential children's home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and care to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with the young person, their family, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are up-to-date with best practices in residential childcare.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including psychologists and therapy teams, to establish appropriate boundaries and manage challenging behaviors.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working in a children's home or a similar setting.
  • A willingness to undergo safer recruitment and onboarding checks prior to commencement.
