About the Role

Henderson Scott is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. As an Infrastructure Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing hardware and software configuration support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and Manage Assets: Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our asset database.
  • Administer Asset Databases: Manage and maintain our asset databases, including the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and the Licence Management database.
  • Coordinate Hardware and Software Acquisition: Liaise with our procurement team to acquire hardware and software assets.
  • Provide Performance Metrics and Reports: Generate monthly performance metrics and reports to demonstrate asset management efficiency and support Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct Audits and Verify Accuracy: Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and consistency of our equipment management.
Requirements
  • Experience in IT Service Support: Proven experience in operating service support functions within an enterprise environment.
  • IT Hardware and Software Auditing and Management: Experience in auditing and managing IT hardware and software assets.
  • Knowledge of Procurement Processes: Understanding of procurement processes and procedures.
  • Experience Working with Third-Party Suppliers: Experience in working with third-party suppliers and vendors.
  • Inventory Management Knowledge: Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of IT Hardware, Software, and Systems: Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and systems.
  • Experience Working within SLA Frameworks: Experience in working within Service Level Agreement (SLA) frameworks and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Management Processes: Understanding of ITIL service management processes.
  • Proficient in Asset and Configuration Management Tools: Proficiency in asset and configuration management tools and techniques.
  • Experience Managing Hardware and Software Assets: Experience in managing hardware and software assets in medium to large environments.
