As a Senior Civil Structures Engineer, you will be instrumental in all facets of heavy civil engineering on transformative initiatives for essential infrastructure, with opportunities to engage in landmark engineering endeavors both domestically and internationally.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to execute technical design tasks adhering to relevant design standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Effectively manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with teams in the UK and internationally to deliver cohesive design solutions.
  • Comply with quality assurance standards in design.
What You Bring
  • Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer status.
  • Proven experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of design and analysis for heavy concrete and steel structures, along with familiarity with current design standards and practices, both British and American.
  • Expertise in utilizing appropriate structural analysis software.
  • Experience in the nuclear sector, particularly in the design and implementation of safety-related structures, systems, and components (strongly preferred, but dependent on overall experience).

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary benchmarked against industry standards, with a default of 25 days of leave annually, in addition to bank holidays, and options to buy or sell leave. Salary and benefits will be aligned with experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:

This position may require security clearance, and offers of employment will depend on obtaining the necessary level of clearance. If applicable, this will be discussed during the interview process. The vetting process is conducted by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK for five years or longer.
