Your primary responsibility will be to assist our Associate Director of Wellbeing and Activities in ensuring the highest standards of wellbeing and meaningful engagement for our residents. We are committed to enabling all our residents to thrive with the appropriate support, and you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing this support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Mentoring and guiding our Wellbeing Leads Implementing training programs related to wellbeing and activities Coaching and supporting staff, including collaborative work Offering staff welfare assistance as required Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, meaningful activities for all residents Upholding dignity for all, supported by our ongoing dignity initiative Fostering a collaborative approach to exceptional interaction and engagement Providing advice and support on activities and engagement to staff and families Enhancing mealtimes to be a highlight of the day Leading and sharing wellbeing initiatives and projectsTo empower you with the confidence and skills necessary to provide high-quality support and guidance to your teams, you will receive personalized support, mentorship, and investment in your professional development. We pride ourselves on being a professional, approachable, and friendly team.
Candidates should possess extensive practical knowledge and experience in planning and delivering activities for individuals and groups. The ability to inspire, motivate, and lead others is essential. Proficiency in IT, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is required. Additionally, candidates should be confident, determined, and adaptable, as the role involves working independently during visits to various locations.
You will be supporting multiple care homes across various regions, necessitating travel as part of your role.
