Network Rail Network Management Engineer

As a key member of the Network Rail team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our railway network. With the increasing adoption of new technology, the ability to work remotely and respond to issues quickly is crucial.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor alarm systems to identify potential issues affecting train running across Great Britain
- Diagnose and assess the impact of issues, working with resolver teams to resolve them as quickly as possible
- Review service reports to identify railway circuits at risk or failed
- Complete GSMR coverage reports for Radio Base Station / Repeaters to assist with train running
- Monitor Legacy Transmission systems for alarms and voice network
- Remotely connect to Telephone Exchanges and provide technical support to field staff
- Liaise with third-party providers to resolve safety-critical incidents
- Ensure site security by speaking with field engineers who wish to book onto Telecoms sites
