Job Details

**Job Title:** HGV Class 1 Driver

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Pay:** £18.00-£22.50 per hour

**Expected Hours:** 45 – 60 per week

**Benefits:**

**Schedule:**

* 10 hour shift
* 12 hour shift
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Night shift
* Overtime
* Weekend availability

**Responsibilities:**

* Completing all relevant paperwork for deliveries, trunking, delivering between 1 – 5 drops, delivering a mixture of pallets, totes or cages to large department stores.
* Ensuring daily vehicle checks and defect reports are completed
* Liaising with your line manager to communicate any issues relevant to the work you have been allocated
* Adhering to all relevant road traffic and working time regulations
* Maintaining accurate driving hours, working time and rest period/break records using the appropriate method (Digi/analogue tachograph)

**Requirements:**

* You will have held your Class 1 for a minimum of 3 months
* Maximum 6 points for minor offences
* 3 months experience essential
* Looking for flexibility and variation
* Looking for appreciation and a good team ethic
* An appreciation of good customer service

We provide a wide variety of contracts, great for relatively new drivers to gain more experience. Our drivers are guaranteed to be paid their 8 hours, and we offer a full site induction on completion of assessment.
