Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services Ltd. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Liaise with line managers to communicate any issues related to work assignments
  • Adhere to road traffic and working time regulations
  • Maintain accurate driving hours, working time, and rest period/break records
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 months of experience as a Class 1 driver
  • Valid driving license and Driver CPC
  • Maximum 6 points for minor offenses
  • Ability to work flexible hours and varying shifts
Benefits:
  • Hourly pay between £18-£22.50 per hour
  • Guaranteed 8 hours of pay per shift
  • Full site induction provided
  • Pension scheme and free parking
