Anson McCade, a prominent boutique management consulting and advisory firm in the UK and Europe, is on the lookout for a Technology M&A Advisor to enhance their global M&A team in London, focusing on Technology Due Diligence services.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to accelerate your professional journey within a dynamic environment, while being part of a well-established organization. You will acquire valuable skills and competencies through a diverse range of challenging M&A projects for prestigious clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Collaborate effectively with private equity and corporate clients on both buy-side and sell-side transactions to execute technology due diligence.
  • IT Insight: Develop a comprehensive understanding of IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, and key organizational factors that drive excellence in IT, to support technology due diligence initiatives.
  • Project Support: Assist the Manager and Senior Management by taking on project management duties.
  • Engagement Delivery: Aid (and where applicable, lead) the design, preparation, planning, and execution of engagements in the M&A domain, encompassing pre-deal (Technology due diligence, carve-out planning), post-deal (integration/separation), and value enhancement (cost reduction, etc.).

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of pertinent experience in an M&A advisory or consulting setting.
  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, with an exemplary academic record from reputable institutions.
  • A solid grasp of information technology, including software architectural principles, IT infrastructure, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficient command of the English language, with experience in producing high-quality reports and presentations, both written and verbal.
  • A demonstrated interest in the convergence of M&A, strategy, and technology.
  • Ability to present confidently to clients and senior leadership.
