Job Summary:

Marc Daniels is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join their team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's financial services entity meets its legal and regulatory obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Risk and Compliance department in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough thematic reviews in key business areas, including complaints, affordability, and creditworthiness assessments.
  • Shared responsibility for risk management activity, including updating internal systems and assessments.
  • Assist with Risk Management queries and provide guidance to the business.
  • Horizon scan regulatory announcements and updates, and write briefing notes for senior management.
  • Conduct monthly transactional monitoring of key operational areas.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a regulated financial services firm.
  • Ability to understand and interpret legislation and regulation.
  • Experience conducting second-line monitoring, both transactional and thematic.
  • Experience producing management information.
