About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled E-Commerce Product Data Coordinator to join our team at Aspinal of London. As a key member of our digital team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of product data across our e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Data Management
    1. Collect, input, and maintain accurate product information, including descriptions, specifications, prices, and images, for all products on the e-commerce platform.
    2. Ensure data is uploaded efficiently and aligned with product launch schedules.
    3. Monitor and verify product data to ensure consistency across all digital channels.
  2. Product Launches
    1. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure new product launches are executed seamlessly.
    2. Assist in planning product launches, ensuring all product pages are live and accurate before deadlines.
  3. Content Optimisation
    1. Ensure product descriptions and meta-data are optimised for search engine visibility (SEO) and customer engagement.
    2. Manage content updates, ensuring product pages are optimised for sales and aligned with brand guidelines.
  4. Inventory and Pricing Management
    1. Work closely with the Merchandising team to ensure product stock levels, pricing, and promotional changes are accurately reflected on the site.
    2. Manage product discontinuations and markdowns, ensuring smooth transitions.
  5. Troubleshooting & Testing
    1. Identify and resolve any product-related issues, such as incorrect pricing, out-of-stock products, or data discrepancies.
    2. Assist in testing website functionalities related to product pages during platform updates or enhancements.
  6. Reporting and Analytics
    1. Monitor product performance using various analytics tools and provide insights to inform business decisions.
    2. Produce regular reports on product page performance, including conversion rates, bounce rates, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  1. Experience
    1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an e-commerce environment, preferably with a focus on product data management.
    2. Experience using e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify) and content management systems (CMS).
  2. Technical Skills
    1. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
    2. Familiarity with SEO principles and e-commerce best practices.
    3. Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar reporting tools is a plus.
  3. Attention to Detail
    1. Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness when managing large volumes of data.
  4. Time Management
    1. Ability to prioritise tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak seasons.
  5. Communication & Collaboration
    1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    2. Able to work collaboratively across teams, managing multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
