Teaching Assistant Role in Darwen

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Darwen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting the development and education of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons to support student learning.
  • Provide individualized support to students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
  • Supervise students during non-classroom times, including lunch and recess as needed.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
