Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Darwen

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Darwen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting the development and education of children.

Job Details
  • Full-time position, 5 days per week, 08:30 – 15:30
  • Supporting a child with ADHD, providing 1:1 learning support
  • Assisting in lesson preparation and delivery, supporting individual students or small groups
  • Working under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supervising students during non-classroom times, contributing to monitoring and recording student progress
Requirements
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role within a school setting, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with children
  • Good organisational skills, ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to professional growth and development
