We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Autism Diagnostic Team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist assessment and treatment to adults with autism and speech, language, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults with autism and speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement highly specialist speech and language therapy treatment plans, ensuring that service users are involved in the planning and prioritization of their care.
  • Provide high-quality clinical care, ensuring safe and effective assessment, treatment, and comprehensive discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist advice and support to service users and their families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of service user outcomes.

Requirements
  • Significant experience of working with adults with autism and speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Experience of leading on service-related projects, including audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge and application of a range of assessments and therapeutic approaches for assessing speech, language, and communication needs in adults.
  • Ability to relate clinical theory to clinical practice and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Current registered membership of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
