Job Summary:
The UHBW Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse specialist to lead our Children's Epilepsy Service. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing advice and support to patients and families, in-patient and out-patient, throughout their care pathway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead an established team of clinical nurse specialists to provide a holistic package of support to children and families with Epilepsy.
- Work closely with our Children's Epilepsy Surgery Service to develop, strengthen, and lead our Epilepsy team.
- Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families, in-patient and out-patient, throughout their care pathway.
- Work closely with our team of friendly paediatric neurologists and paediatricians to ensure that children receive a seamless, quality service.
- Be actively involved in education, audit, and research to improve the quality and service for patients.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our Children's Epilepsy Service. As a Clinical Lead, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide a co-ordinated quality service.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership abilities and sound interpersonal skills.
- Desire to improve the quality and service for patients.
- Experience in paediatric neurology and epilepsy care.
- Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
