School Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented School Receptionist to join our team at Aspire People. As a School Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students, guests, and parents, while ensuring the smooth operation of the school's front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome students, guests, and parents into the school and ensure a positive first impression
- Ensure safeguarding processes are followed at all times
- Answer and filter telephone calls, responding to queries and concerns
- Respond to emails and letters to parents in a timely and professional manner
- Typing of letters and memos, as well as filing, faxing, and photocopying
- Deal with parents and pupils in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Receptionist in a school environment or similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on a temporary basis, with flexibility to work between 8:00a.m. and 4:30p.m.
- Willingness to register with us and obtain an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, which will be processed by us at a cost of £47.20 (unless already registered on the Update Service)
