Job Title: Children and Young People's Team Leader

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join their Children and Young People's Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of social workers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and young people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of social workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children and young people with disabilities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the best interests of children and young people are met.
  • Manage and oversee the performance of the team, ensuring compliance with practice standards and procedures.
  • Support the recruitment and selection of new staff, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality services.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to social workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with other teams and agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children and young people with disabilities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of working in a social work team, with a focus on children and young people with disabilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, service users, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014.
