The role of the Health Care Assistant is to provide direct care and support to patients as delegated by the qualified nurse. This includes maintaining a clean and safe environment, assisting with clerical and housekeeping duties, and contributing to the unit's philosophy of care.
Main ResponsibilitiesAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Health Care Assistant to join the St Helier Ophthalmology Outpatients department. The successful candidate will have previous experience in an outpatients setting and possess extended skills in areas such as blood pressure measurement, blood sampling, and phlebotomy.
Key Requirements- NVQ level 3 in care or equivalent training and experience
- Previous outpatients experience

- Ability to follow procedures and work in a team
