Position Overview
AWS is seeking a highly skilled Vetting Management Administrator, experienced in handling sensitive data at scale within intricate environments.

This role involves collaboration with a Vetting Management Lead, forming a compact Vetting Management team that integrates into a broader group of security professionals dedicated to enhancing security programs and processes for UK clients.

The overarching security team oversees a diverse array of security initiatives, including personnel security, insider threat management, physical and logical accreditations, training and awareness, assurance, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities
The Vetting Management Administrator will undertake various administrative duties related to Vetting Management, including:

  • Managing the complete lifecycle of security vetting applications, including aftercare responsibilities.
  • Submitting inputs and outputs from the vetting database.
  • Generating Management Information (MI) reports and disseminating data to internal stakeholders.
  • Conducting detailed analysis and interrogation of vetting data.
  • Providing information to external stakeholders.
  • Serving as the primary contact for access control to designated security-sensitive areas.
  • Contributing to the creation of new documentation and processes aimed at the continuous improvement of vetting operations.
  • Delivering vetting-related briefings to staff.
