About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional Vetting Management Administrator to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our Vetting Management team, you will play a critical role in processing sensitive data on a large scale within a complex environment.

This position will be working closely with a Vetting Management Lead to make up a small Vetting Management team, which itself forms part of a wider team of security experts working with UK customers to operate and continuously improve security programs and processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Vetting Management administrative tasks, processing sensitive information, managing and resolving queries and issues relating to clearances, and producing and maintaining high-quality data for audit and reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process the full lifecycle of security vetting applications, including aftercare duties
  • Submit inputs/outputs from the vetting database
  • Produce MI reports and cascade data to internal stakeholders
  • Analyse and interrogate vetting data with good attention to detail
  • Provide information to external stakeholders
  • Be the point of contact to provide access control to specific security-controlled areas
  • Contribute to the development of new documentation and processes to continually improve and optimise vetting processes
  • Provide vetting-related staff briefings

Requirements

Solid experience working in the fields of security, risk, or Human Resources.

Extensive experience of processing data of a sensitive nature and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Knowledge and understanding of security culture is important.
