Security Systems Engineer

At & Security Systems Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning fire alarm and supporting systems. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary works team to provide high-quality installations to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled installations in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to our quality standards.
- Perform all necessary works required at customer premises, ensuring compliance with our quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure a clear understanding of system and site status, particularly system defects that affect its correct function.
- Liaise with service administrators to ensure service commitments are met.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all company paperwork, in line with our requirements.
- Operate in accordance with our Company Handbook and all relevant quality standards and health and safety requirements.
- Verify that as-installed drawings match the finished project and communicate any discrepancies to the project manager.
- Develop and diagnose Cause and Effect software for relevant control equipment, and plan a full C&E test as part of the Commissioning process.
Technical Requirements:
- Understand basic building service systems, such as air conditioning systems, with a view to interfacing with them.
- Hold Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
- Have manufacturers training with a minimum requirement of Notifier and Gent equipment in respect of servicing.
