About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX Researcher to join our team at Flo. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading UX research initiatives and guiding the development of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research Leadership: Oversee and lead UX research projects, ensuring that they align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of UX researchers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Research Methodologies: Develop and implement research methodologies that meet the needs of our products and customers.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and engineers.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our research processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong background in research methodologies and team leadership.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding and mentoring senior researchers.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to advocate for research and influence decision-making across all organizational levels.
  • Methodologies: Extensive expertise in a wide array of research methods, including evaluative and formative research.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead research projects from conception to completion.
