About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Sales Manager to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a sales strategy that drives business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that focuses on proactive development of existing customers, lapsed customers, and new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Engage and inspire branch colleagues to support the sales strategy and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers to ensure ongoing profitability.
  • Liaise with suppliers to create local commercial plans that drive profitable sales.
  • Ensure the safety of all colleagues and customers by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Support the Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager in managing aspects of the branch and business.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a builders' merchant or similar industry is advantageous.
  • Proven sales experience and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, adaptable, resilient, and tenacious with high levels of energy and drive.
  • Focused and goal-oriented with the ability to achieve sales objectives.
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
