Job Summary:

Arco Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager Designate / Assistant Branch Manager to join our client's busy and successful branch in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and operations, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Branch Manager in the day-to-day running of the branch, including sales, operations, and customer service.
  • Take a leading role in driving sales growth and improving sales performance.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales and operations staff to achieve sales and operational targets.
  • Deputise for the Branch Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of business operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a Builders Merchants or similar industry.
  • Strong sales and operations background, with a track record of driving sales growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

What We Offer:
