Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and develop effective sales propositions.
  • Liaise with suppliers to create local commercial plans that drive profitable sales.
  • Ensure the safety of colleagues and customers by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Support the Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager in managing aspects of the branch and business.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a builders' merchant or a similar industry is advantageous.
  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of achieving sales objectives.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and work as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
  • High levels of energy, drive, and resilience, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
