Job Summary:

The Applications Security Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the security of software applications within an organisation. This position involves evaluating, enhancing, and maintaining the security posture of applications across the development lifecycle. The primary focus is on identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership and ensure governance, policy, procedures, and standards are applied in Tait Engineering and Development to meet agreed security standards within the Business.
  • Identification, investigation, and resolution of security breaches related to Tait Products.
  • Work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to create, implement, and maintain policies, standards and procedures to comply with ISO 27001.
  • Strategy & Planning (Under guidance from CISO, and Chief Operating Officer (COO))
  • Acquisition & Deployment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or relevant experience in the discipline.
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Any other relevant security certifications.
  • Working knowledge of intrusion protection, dual factor authentication, encryption and other security solutions.
  • Understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols.
  • Working Knowledge in Software development life cycle preferably with digital radio products.
  • Working knowledge of cloud security architectures and solutions.
