Job Title: Helpdesk and Desktop Support Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Helpdesk and Desktop Support Analyst to join our team at Nexus Jobs Limited. As a key member of our Service Desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our internal banking staff and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second-line support for desktop and peripheral hardware, application support, network connectivity, and remote connectivity.
  • Work with the Service Desk team to deliver all aspects of services, including root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Support remote branch operations using Remote Assistance and Active Directory user starter/leaver processes.
  • Maintain and support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including Blackberry deployments.
  • Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets and participate in ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in desktop support, with a focus on banking environments.
  • Strong technical skills, including Microsoft operating systems, office suite, TCP/IP, and basic networking.
  • Experience with ITIL and Microsoft certifications is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain industry-recognized skills through training or self-study methods.
Technical Skills:
  • Supporting Microsoft operating systems, office suite, and Citrix.
  • Windows 7, Office 2013, and Xenapp published applications.
  • Desktop hardware, laptops, and Blackberry deployments.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of desktop support principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The salary for this role will be in the range £40K - £55K plus benefits. The Client is based in the City close to Liverpool Street and Bank stations. The role will require you to be in the office 3 days a week for the time being and full-time in the office at some point in the future.
