Project Engineer Specialist

As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our terminals and engineering projects. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the design of new engineering terminals and manage contractors to maintain safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and conduct tank and pipework inspections within the specified time frame, adhering to EEMUA and API rules.
- Assess and follow up on recommendations resulting from inspections, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Set up and manage engineering projects, including negotiating costs and arranging major maintenance requirements.
- Carry out site inspections to assess work needed to maintain standards, and organize meter proving and plant hose testing at various sites.
- Assist with oil loss investigations and compile local plant procedures, including emergency procedures.
- Arrange training for plant work, such as quayside work and confined space entry, and operate a system of work control procedures to ensure safe working practices.
- Strong engineering background and experience in terminal operations.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including EEMUA and API.
