We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Support Officer at the Highways Operation Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Process a high volume of customer enquiries through various contact channels, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Log and maintain accurate records of customer interactions on our database system, adhering to Universal Services Directorate and Council procedures.
- Investigate and escalate complex enquiries, managing customer expectations and assigning emergency enquiries as required.
- Write high-quality responses to complaints and enquiries, ensuring compliance with Hampshire Highway processes and statutory responsibilities.
- Support the Customer Contact Centre during high volumes, developing and maintaining service knowledge to ensure accuracy.
- A minimum of GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- An understanding of IT systems and packages, including Microsoft Office 360.
- A team player with strong collaboration skills.
