About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to take on the role of Registered Care Manager in our reputable healthcare facility. As a Service Manager with Leonard Cheshire, you will provide clear direction, management, and supervision of a great staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with passion and enthusiasm to ensure the service is well run and promotes positive outcomes for disabled people.
  • Ensure the service is fully compliant with health and safety management and statutory obligations.
  • Manage budgets and operate a financially sound service.
  • Handle recruitment, on-going training, development, and performance needs of staff.
  • Hold registration for the service and ensure achievement of national minimum care standard requirements.

Requirements:

  • A recognised nursing or social care qualification and registration.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience in managing care teams or supervisory/management experience in a care environment.
  • Strong people and communication skills with excellent customer service.
  • Thorough understanding of financial data and ability to manage budgets.
