Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our client's support package to provide personal care and support in their own home.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of complex care experience, including dealing with seizures, PEG feed, catheter, and administering medication. They will also have excellent communication skills, be friendly and dynamic, and have a strong personality with common sense.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to our client, including administration of medication, moving and handling with hoist, gastrostomy care/PEG feeding, and personal care.
- Assist our client in the community and perform administrative duties.
- Be responsible for a wide range of tasks that can vary day to day, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy.
- Prepared to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way.
- Willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.
- Reliable, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, and compassionate.
- Committed to confidentiality and treating the client with dignity and respect.
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.15 for daytime Monday to Friday shifts and £19.23 for waking nights.
