About the Role:
We are seeking exceptional and dedicated personal care assistants to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a member of our caring team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration of medication and management of care plans
- Moving and handling with hoist, including transferring and repositioning clients
- Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as eating, drinking, and toileting
- Supporting clients with mobility and balance issues
- Providing administrative support, including maintaining records and reporting
- Light housekeeping and laundry duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or support role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
