Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Effective Communications Strategies: Create and execute communications plans to support key bids and increase brand awareness.
  • Content Creation and Marketing: Produce high-quality, engaging content to showcase our business's people and capabilities, and promote across internal channels and third-party platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Management: Engage with clients, project teams, residents, and stakeholders to manage and implement social value programs, environmental initiatives, and marketing strategies.
  • Network Development and Maintenance: Maintain a network of external stakeholders and community partners, including charities, training providers, residents, and industry organizations.
  • Event Representation and Participation: Represent the company at community, industry, and networking events, including resident engagement, job fairs, charity events, and exhibitions.
  • Market Research and Reporting: Conduct market research and report on opportunities to maintain current relationships and build new relationships.
  • Charity Program Management: Manage and develop the company's charity program, including liaising with charity partners and organizing internal fundraising events.
  • Apprentice and Training Support: Support apprentices, workplace schemes, and training in line with the company's commitment, including liaising with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to work with various colleagues of different levels and roles across the business.
  • Social Value Calculator Experience: Experience using a social value calculator, such as the Social Value Portal, Thrive, Impact, or HACT software.
  • IT Proficiency: Proficiency using office IT applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and desktop publishing software, such as Microsoft Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Aspirations to continuously be innovative, learn, and develop in the role and company.
  • Social and Outgoing Personality: Social, outgoing personality with excellent public speaking skills.
  • High-Level Literacy: High level of literacy, including written communication.
  • Autonomy and Independence: Ability to work autonomously.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility Experience: Previous experience in corporate social responsibility.
  • Web Technologies and Social Media Knowledge: Good knowledge of current web technologies and social media.
