Lead Modelling Engineer

MASS is seeking to enhance our talented team with a new Lead Modelling Engineer. This role involves collaborating closely with our Engineering Manager to innovate and implement advanced modelling capabilities. As part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for planning and executing development Sprints under the guidance of a Principal Modelling Engineer.

In this position, you will evolve into the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the project, serving as a key contact for stakeholder inquiries.

Your strong foundation in Physics and Mathematical principles at a Degree level, along with your experience as a Modelling Engineer, will be crucial to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage System Design Documentation
  • Utilize coding skills in MATLAB and Simulink

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading a small team
  • Familiarity with the FPGA build process, particularly for Xilinx targets
  • Proficiency in Requirements Management using Simulink Requirements

  • Must be a UK National eligible to work in the UK
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK Government SC-level security clearance
  • Salary is negotiable based on experience
