Job Description

**Job Title:** PCV Driver - Transport Professional

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PCV Driver to join our team at London Hire Group. As a PCV Driver, you will be responsible for providing a professional driving service to our clients and service users, ensuring their safety and well-being during transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to local road restrictions and speed limits.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure it is in good working condition and report any defects to the office.
  • Ensure all passengers and wheelchair users are securely fastened in the vehicle using the necessary safety equipment.
  • Manage fuel levels and refuel the vehicle as required or instructed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, both inside and out, on a regular basis.
  • Remove and replace seating as necessary.
  • Park the vehicle in the designated depot bays.
  • Operate the passenger lift and other equipment to assist passengers safely.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers and clients in a patient and informative manner.
  • Assist the Passenger Assistant with their duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Hold a full, unrestricted D driving license (auto restrictions acceptable) with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Hold a CPC qualification card with up-to-date mandatory training.
  • Minimum of two years' experience driving a bus or coach.
  • Hold or be willing to apply for a DVLA Digital Tachograph driver's card.
  • Willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
  • Hold a current and valid D4 medical examination report.
