PCV Bus Driver Job Description

At Arriva London North Limited, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated PCV Bus Driver to join our team. As a PCV Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in connecting our community and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a PCV bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Operate the bus in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • PCV Licence (required)
  • Minimum age of 18 with at least 6 months of driving experience
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £15.40-£19.75 per hour
  • Enhanced hourly rate of 1.25x paid for unsociable hours
  • 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, scheduled up to 6-8 weeks in advance
  • Free travel provided by TfL on the TfL network for yourself and a nominee within the same household
  • Access to the 'Arriva Village' for exclusive store discounts and offers
