  • Managing procurement processes to source high-quality partners, including drafting tenders, conducting interviews, and selecting suitable subcontractors.
  • Overseeing subcontractor performance by setting and tracking targets to optimize contributions and ensure compliance with performance expectations.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews with funders and subcontractors to assess outcomes, strategize for future targets, and identify risks along with mitigation actions.
  • Ensuring prompt escalation of any performance-related issues.
  • Monitoring the financial performance of subcontractors against budgets, collaborating closely with the finance team to provide necessary reporting data.
  • Delivering status updates on project and programme milestones, progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), interdependencies, lessons learned, risks, and issues in accordance with business and commissioner requirements.
  • Facilitating regular meetings with commissioners/funders and ensuring communication with subcontractors/partners to address any escalated concerns.
  • Leading the closure procedures for projects and programmes in collaboration with subcontractors.

Additionally, you will:

  1. Identify best practices and nurture relationships within the sector.
  • Provide insights and expertise during the initial phases of project and programme design, working closely with the procurement team on subcontractor selection.
  • Utilize data analysis and thorough audits to identify effective practices, sharing findings with the wider Programme Team and integrating them into standard operations.
  • Stay informed on the latest policies and research to ensure knowledge across delivery areas is current.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, strategic partners, and relevant organizations.
  • Contribute to marketing and communication strategies, ensuring alignment with branding and communication initiatives.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams and external experts to strengthen the connection between CPD design and programme management, addressing any challenges in project delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes with robust quality assurance processes.
