As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of our housing support services for vulnerable women at Hinde House in Norwich.
Your role will involve assisting women who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their homes, providing the necessary support to help them achieve stability in their living situations. You will ensure that our clients receive a high standard of assistance, utilizing a strengths-based approach that aligns with their personal goals and aspirations.
Throughout the night, your focus will be on ensuring that our residents feel secure and content, while also being available to provide support as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety of the premises through regular monitoring and health and safety assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that our residents feel safe and supported during the night.
- Assist clients in managing risks and addressing any behavioral concerns that may arise.
- Conduct health and safety inspections of the building and report any maintenance issues. Responsibilities also include cleaning shared areas and preparing rooms for re-letting.
- Engage with residents to build rapport and be a reliable point of contact for support during nighttime hours.
- Manage visitors to the facility and address any behaviors that violate house rules.
- Collaborate with the wider team by completing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records to ensure a seamless service.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or in security/concierge services.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in challenging and complex situations.
- Prior experience working with vulnerable populations is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 9-4 / A-C or equivalent).
